Let's Connex Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") is a marketplace platform that connects creators with businesses for collaboration opportunities. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Let's Connex platform and related services.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Information: Email address and password when you create an account.
• Profile Information:Name, bio, portfolio links, location, social media handles, and other details you choose to provide, including your device's precise location if you choose to detect it.
• Social Account Readings: For creators, what we read on your public social accounts to check your figures: follower counts, your posts and their view counts, kept for each reading.
• Offers & Applications: Details of offers you create or apply to, including descriptions, compensation, and deliverables.
• Money Records: Your wallet balance and its history, each e-Transfer we record with its amount, reference and date, your top-up and payout requests, and the Interac email or phone number you give us for payouts.
• Messages: Content of messages exchanged between creators and businesses through the platform.
• Uploaded Files: Photos, videos and other content you upload, including deliverables and chat attachments.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
• Business Information Gathered Before Sign-up: For businesses we invite, public details such as the business name, contact details and public ratings, collected before the business creates an account.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Let's Connex platform.
• Match creators with relevant business opportunities.
• Facilitate communication between creators and businesses.
• Send transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, notifications).
• Ensure platform security and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Service Providers:Companies that run parts of the platform for us: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), OpenStreetMap's Nominatim (names your area when you choose to detect your location) and OpenFreeMap (map tiles). TikTok receives your device's details only if you play a TikTok video embedded on one of our case studies. We use no analytics service.
• Other Users: Profile information you make public may be visible to other users of the platform.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.

We use cookies and similar session technologies for authentication and to remember your preferences. These are essential for the platform to function and are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.
